This Foo Fighters album was less of a pop-rock mix but however was full blown heavy rock which a lot of their old fans loved. The images used are extremely colourful which is made more prominent by the solid black background. The only colours used are green, orange, blue and pink and the faces of the band members are copied a few times and posted into one big mash-up. Something that I am thinking about taking from this particular digipak is the contrast between bright, vivid colours and the dominant black. Also the font is clear and bold which is key to an effective digipak or for the magazine ad especially when you are selecting the font for the band and song name.
